Announcing our reOPENing!

We are excited to announce that our office will be reopening as of Monday, June 1st! We have all waited for a long time and we appreciate your patience. We have already started to reschedule appointments that were canceled due to our office closure. Our team is asking for your patience as we have nearly 3 months of appointments to reschedule. While we are closely abiding by the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), OSHA, and CDC guidelines, our goal is to get everyone seen and caught up in a timely manner. Together with our team, Dr. Len Cuiffreda, and Dr. James Occhipinti have developed a comprehensive plan to keep everyone that enters our office as safe as possible. We are ready to assist you with our new office protocols.
What we are doing:
-
We have always used universal precautions in our office for infection control and will continue to sterilize and sanitize instruments and treatment rooms;
-
We are installing a new antimicrobial, antiviral air purifier in the building’s HVAC system, which constantly purifies the air in the building;
-
Fog/spray sanitizers will be used in our treatment rooms and other areas throughout the day;
-
Common areas and surfaces will be disinfected before and after each patient;
-
We will be using a non-contact thermometer to monitor the temperatures of our patients. This will help our team to screen anyone that may be sick, but not aware of it yet;
-
Patients entering our office will be questioned about potential signs and symptoms of infection with COVID-19. If they are suspected of having an infection, they will not be allowed into our office;
-
Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the office for patient use;
-
Our reception area will remain closed until further notice;
-
We have installed sneeze guard protection screens at our reception desk which will create a barrier when making appointments and interacting with our team;
-
You may notice changes in the check-in and check-out procedures. Bear with us as we work through these changes together;
-
Before the office opens each day, our team will be screened for any COVID-19 signs or symptoms and their temperatures will be taken. We have developed an employee protocol for when they will be able to return to work;
-
The PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) worn by Dr. Occhipinti and the team will be above and beyond what is required by the CDC and OSHA;
-
There will be signs and team members available to guide you if you have any questions or concerns.
What you will need to do:
-
Patients entering our office will be questioned about their possibility of contact with someone infected with COVID-19 - PLEASE READ The Patient Questionnaire BEFORE COMING TO YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. This will help make the flow of patients in and out of our office as smooth as possible.;
-
Only patients will be allowed in the building. If patients require assistance or need concessions to this rule, be sure to let our office staff know in advance. We are here to help you;
-
For the time being, everyone entering our office should wear a mask;
-
Patients will be required to wash their hands or to apply hand sanitizer upon arrival;
-
All patients will rinse with an anti-microbial rinse before their treatment;
-
Whenever possible, patients will need to keep a distance of at least 6 feet while in our office.
